FAQ about our Dahlia sale
Important information to know :

* Our dahlia tubers will be available for purchase February 17th, 2024 at 2 PM EST.
​
* All dahlia tubers are grown with care at our farm in Norwood, Ontario.
* All dahlias are sold as individual tubers with at least one viable eye guaranteed.
​
* Pre-purchased dahlia tubers are shipped when weather permits (starting approx. mid-April, shipping to Canada only). If you’re local to us, local pickup is also available starting in late April (we will email you when your order is ready for pick up here at our farm store in Norwood during store hours).
​
* There will be a flat rate shipping charge of $25 per order. Please note that unfortunately we cannot combine shipping for multiple dahlia orders.
* Some varieties will have limited quantities.

It will be possible to order zinnia/Celosia seeds and dahlia tubers, and ship them together
​
If you want to order seeds at the same time and want to avoid paying for shipping twice, please select “Local Pickup” for any subsequent orders after your first order. And, in the Order Notes at checkout, please write “Combine my shipping, please!” or send us an email at heritageblooms@aol.com requesting that we ship your seeds with your first order.

DAHLIA SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Shopping Cart:
​
If you have an item in your cart, it is not reserved until you complete your order, successfully check out, and receive a confirmation order number and email. Dahlia mania, especially for some rare varieties, is a real thing. I know the frustration of trying to check out while things go out of stock. This functionality is related to e-commerce, and not something the farmers can control.
Once an order is placed, we are unable to add additional items or combine shipping. If you would like to add any additional items, you'll need to submit an additional order, which will ship separately.
Limits:
We may set some limits on the most sought-after varieties and when inventory is limited, so that more people have a chance to grow them. This will clearly be stated in the product description. Please respect these limitations when placing your order. We will return any order that does not respect these limits.
Product Satisfaction:

Above all else, we want you to be happy with your order!
We guarantee that each tuber will arrive to you in excellent condition with at least one growth eye. Upon receiving your order please inspect your tuber(s) immediately and contact us via email (heritageblooms@aol.com) within 7 days if you have any concerns. The email should include your order number and a photo.

Please understand that we can NOT be held responsible for improper storage once the tuber is in your possession, weather & growing conditions, pest damage, or plant performance. We are unable to offer store credit or replacements after the 7 days.

Exceptions \ Non-Returnable Items:
​
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on certain types of items such as gift certificates, sale items, perishable goods (such as flowers, or plants), and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).
​
Dammages & Issues:
​
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
​
Refunds:
​
If, due to unforeseen circumstances we lose stock (power/storage failure, tuber rot) and are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified as soon as we are aware and provided with the following options: refund, substitution, or credit for the following year. We do hold back stock to give us a buffer, however unforeseen circumstances are just that, unforeseen.
​
In the event your order arrives damaged or if you receive the wrong dahlia, please reach out and we will determine if you are eligible for a refund. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
​
To be eligible for a return, you must request such via email at heritageblooms@aol.com. You have 7 days after receiving your item(s) to request a return.

Preparing for the Sale:
You can preview varieties here. All varieties will be marked as out of stock until the sale on Saturday, February 17. Please note that final varieties and prices are not guaranteed until the site goes live for the sale, but we'll do our best to keep it as accurate and as up-to-date as possible. The morning of the sale, the page will go blank until the sale goes live at 2 pm EST (this is so we can update the website for the sale).
